Winter is here. Technically by the calendar, it is not, but it sure does feel like it. It snowed on Sunday and unfortunately, I had to drive in it. There is more snow in the forecast for tonight and I am really hoping the snow plows are out tonight for an easy drive in to my other job in Schaumburg.
It’s fairly slow right now with my photography with the cold weather. Althought I just want to snuggle up with a bunch of blankets and watch tv, I am trying to stay positive and think about the warmer weather in the spring time. Sptring is only about 4 months away!
I really want to act on my idea I had over the summer of starting family portraits, or pindividual portraits but with your pets! I love my pooch so much and I think I’m not the only one who loves their pets as much as I do. I should take a self portrait of Mc and I. He’s a staffordshire terrier.

In this photo Mc is wearing MY socks because he cut up his paws on something sharp in my backyard while playing catch. The only way I could prevent him from licking his paws was by putting on those funny socks. It made I cute photo, don’t you think?!

Let’s catch up a bit here. I never found a house to purchase, but I found a house to rent in Elmhurst. I really love the neighborhood I live in. The.neighbors are friendly, one gentleman came over to help me fix my tail light, I didnt even have to ask. I’ll have to post some photos of my new place soon.
Last Saturday I was lucky enough to photograph a long time friend’s wedding at Elm Church, which happened to be maybe 2 miles away from where I live. The church was beautiful and had awesome lighting. Needless to say, I’m quite confident tge photos will come out great.
At this very moment, I am on a train to Carbondale, Il. I am viditing my best friend Jenna and her husband Ben. They may have good news to share with me =)

Ok, I’ll be honest, I pretty much forgot about blogging, because I’ve been thinking about other things. Although, this always happens to me, I remember things when I’m showering. I actually do my best thinking in the shower. I remember everything while I’m in the shower, but when I’m out of the shower, I forget everything.
My current project right now is my story telling project for Heritage Pizza in downtown Lockport, IL. They have something called a “beef roll” that comes with awesome dipping juice, that is to die for. Anywho, I’m going to be hanging out with them for some time, hopefully not chowing down on these beef rolls too much (I’m watching my weight.) While I hang out with them I’ll be collecting audio, video, and photos then I’ll combine it all together and have a short video story. Then everyone can find out how awesome this little pizza place is =)

I have decided that it is time I started a blog. I used to have a few blogs when I was in middle school such as xanga and livejournal. I had such an adventurous life then. I was wild, and still trying to find myself. I think people actually liked reading my crazy stories too. SO, here I will vent some of life stories, whether they’re good, bad or boring.
As you can tell by the photo attached, I have an unusual set up going on. My lappy’s back light doesn’t come on anymore, until my handyman (my father} fixes it, which its been like this for months, so I have to connect my lappy to my 18″ flat screen. But hey! I gain 5″ of screen! I told myself I would not buy a desk top unless I can treat it right and that means when I find a new place to live where I can have either an office or space for a desk.
On that note: It is official my brother, twin nephews and I are going to be house searching (more like I’ll be doing the searching because my brother doesn’t seem to care what the house looks like, as long as its a house.) So I will be getting my desk top some time soon after all.
This week seems promising, I am meeting with clients Mark and Barb on Thursday to seal the deal for their wedding in June of this year!
More to come…
